| Why you should be chosen as Miss Newa 2011? |
| I am a kind, genuine and down-to-earth daughter of strong and loving mother of newar society of Nepal where Lord Gautam Buddha was born, which is known as country of peace but the newari language, culture, festival, newari food of the newar society is vanishing day by day. As a free bird flying in the sky, I also have a dream to fly freely in the sky as a bird to reestablish those newari language, culture, food, dress and so on and for this I am taking my steps ahead and making promise to continue this steps for life time I have chosen the platform of Miss Newa. I have had learn many things from Miss Newa and Nepalese Fashion Home and I have got not only beauty but potential and self confidence to teach same things to coming generation also that’s why I think I should be chosen as Miss Newa. | What are the qualities that a Miss Newa should posses? |
| Qualities are the traits which show the real side of a person. Always good and better qualities are the best. Miss Newa is the title which represents all the women of newar community. So, Miss Newa should contain those quality which reflects all the women of newar community. She must have knowledge of Newar language, culture, food, festival and all. She should have confidence to face the public to aware about Newa and its importance and she must also have an idea or knowledge to teach new generation about the beauties, importance and power of newar language, culture and newar people and also teach them that we newar will always remain newar and we are proud to be newar. |

| What are the reasons you think are the cause for the backwardness of newar women? |
| Newar women have the qualities of being forward but the stick and orthodox environment are insisting them to be backward. Firstly, different boundaries created by the society are not giving chance to open up their actual abilities in front of the others. Another main reason for their backwardness is their own hesitation, they hesitate to express their feelings freely and confidently. Newar culture itself is rich and has various good aspects in it but some part of it still trying to be modernized which is making newar women backward then other. |
