| What are the reasons you think are the cause for the backwardness of newar women? |
| Newar women are not that much backward these days. But still some women are left behind. The main reason for the backwardness might be the high beliefs in customs and traditions. Due to male dominant society, women are not giving the opportunity to read and not allowed to show their capability and talent. Women often stay at home cleaning, cooking and caring for their children. Women are depending upon their father before marriage and upon their husbands after their marriage and at last upon their son before they die. |
