| I have always stand up for what I believe, I have always believe my instinct and my talent. I know my culture, and I know how to live in my tradition, I deserve to be Miss Newa because I have got it for what it takes for. |

| What are the qualities that a Miss Newa should posses? |
| Miss Newa the title itself speaks what it wants. One should be amulgumed by beauty, talent with cultural essence. She should be good performer. This is the process where a simple girl knows herself so well. So, she should be the one who brings best in her. |

| What are the reasons you think are the cause for the backwardness of newar women? |
| Well, I don't think Newar women are backwards. The thing is they don’t get a good platform to exhibit their talent and I am so lucky that I get this platform. There are so many examples where Newar women came into the limelight. The aren't less than men. Hisila yami, Sahana Pradhan, Aastha Laxmi Shakya, etc, They have shine through the down, They are also the motivators, so why can't we create a history as them? |
